99.9% of Orders can be set up in less than 30 seconds.
In some circumstances Special Orders can take up to 24 hours.

Do you offer NT or UNIX plans?

We offer UNIX web hosting accounts (Red Hat Linux). At this time, we do not handle Windows on any machines.

How do I access my Cpanel control panel?

You can login to your CPanel control panel at http://yoursite.com/cpanel where "yoursite" is your own domain name.
You will be able to access CPanel before your domain propagates by using the IP address of the server.
Instructions will be in your Welcome email after creating your account.

Can I use POP Mail and WebMail?

Yes, you can use both it's up to you.
Any POP3 Mail Client such as Outlook and Eudora can be used.
To Setup your EMAIL accounts for both POP3 and WebMail Click on this ICON in the Cpanel Then click on the Add Remove selection

Login as: username@yoursite.com -or- username+yoursite.com
Incoming Mail: yoursite.com
Out Going Mail depends on your ISP see their POP3 Mail instructions
Examples: smtp.your-isp-service.com, mail.your-isp-service.com -or- mail, smtp

The WebMail Services available in CPanel are NeoMail, Horde (Spanish) and SquirrelMail


Can I setup Mail Forwarders and AutoResponders?

Yes, you can use Mail Forwarding and AutoResponders

Do you allow mailing lists and Newsletters?

Yes, we allow legitimate mailing lists to your customers, subscribers or members.
Number of lists depends upon your hosting plan.
We have a ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY on SPAM.

What is your Spam Policy?

We have a ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY
That means any account found to be SPAMMING, Spoofing, Phishing or other unlawful email practices will be immediately suspended without a refund plus fees, costs and possible criminal liabilities.

What are the nameservers for the current server?

Primary Nameserver: NS1.EWERKSHOSTISP.COM
Secondary Nameserver: NS2.EWERKSHOSTISP.COM

How do I FTP into my account?

First you must obtain an FTP program such as Cute FTP or WS_FTP.   Once you have an FTP program, type in "yourdomain.com" as the host address. Supply your username and password in the according fields.  Once logged in, you have complete access to your account.

Can I have Shell access?

Because of security and network integrity we limit shell access to the Professional and Pro Plus Plans.
There are some conditions which have to be met before we can authorize Shell Access.
1. We must receive a (clear readable) Mail or Fax Copy of the account holders Drivers License, State ID or Passport.
2. A copy of a utility bill, Electric, Gas or Phone with name and address that matches the Hosting Plan account holder information.
3. There is a one-time setup fee of $40.00 which must be pre-paid before access will be granted.
It takes 24 to 48 hours (not including weekends or holidays) after we receive payment and requested copies before access is granted.

Where are my statistics?

Click the Web/FTP Stats ICON after logging into CPanel and select a Stats option. This will open a new window to view your domain statistics.

What is the full path to my cgi-bin?

/home/username/public_html/cgi-bin

Which folder do I upload my web pages to?

You should place all of your web documents in the public_html directory.

I keep getting errors when trying to publish with Frontpage?

The most common problem is not using the full url when uploading your site. Make sure you use the entire http://www.domain.com in the address you are attempting to publish to.

Can I register a SSL Certificate for my site?

Yes, you can register for a secure certificate.

Yes, CGI will function in the public_html folder.

I've uploaded my site and still see "placeholder for ..."?

You are still seeing the default index.html page set up when you ordered your hosting plan through us. Make sure to delete that old index.html page, then your site should resolve correctly.

How long does it take for my DNS changes to update world wide?

Normally you can expect to see your web site DNS (Domain Name Servers) to change within 24 to 72 hours once you have made the modifications at your registrar.
If you registered your Domain with us it usually takes from 24 to 48 hours.
However, we have seen it take up to 7 days in some cases where registrars are a little slower in processing DNS modifications.

Why isn't my SSI working?

In order for SSI to be executed, you must rename all of your web pages to .shtml rather than .htm or .html. This solves the majority of SSI errors.

Can I add disk space and bandwith to my account?

Yes, you add disk space and bandwidth to your existing hosting account except the Personal Starter Plan.
Blocks of 100 MB of disk space, 500 MB and 1 GB (10240 MB) and blocks of 10 GB and 20 GB of bandwidth.
You will be billed separately for upgrades monthly.
Monthly cost - 100 MB disk space $5 USD
Monthly cost - 500 MB disk space $20 USD
Monthly cost - 1 GB (1024 MB) disk space $35 USD
Monthly cost - 10 GB of bandwith is $20 USD
Monthly cost - 25 GB of bandwith is $35 USD

How do I cancel my account?

Requests for canceling accounts must be made in writing or email with, at least, 5 business days notice before your next billing. What are the conditions to use the 30 day Guarantee?

* 30 day Money back guarantee pertains to new accounts and begins upon activation.

To receive a refund we must receive a written notice of cancellation no later than (28) twenty-eight days from activation or (2) two days prior to the next months billing. If you are paying semi-annually for web site hosting services, we will issue a pro-rata refund for months not used if received before (60) sixty days of service has expired.
There is a Cancellation fee on Semi-Annual accounts of $35.00 which will be deducted from the refund.
NO Refunds will be approved for accounts in service for more than (60) sixty days from the date and time the account was activated and the original transaction was settled. ALL refunds requested after the (60) sixty day period will be rejected.
We do not offer any kind of "money back" guarantee after (60) sixty days of Semi-Annual assigned hosting service.

We support Freedom of Speech and the free flow of information on the Internet.
We allow any lawful content including lawful adult on our servers.
We do not allow any content related to or links to (beastiality), (child pornogragraphy), (simulated child pornography) and or (hate related groups or sites promoting violence, intolerance or destruction in any manner or form) any violation will be grounds for immediate suspension of your account.
